It is also illegal to have the Egyptian Turtle as a pet in the United States of America. The Egyptian Tortoise has no predators, but they have lost thier natural habitat. They lost them to people. Workers build houses and other buildings on top of where the Egyptian Tortoise lives. These are just some of the reasons for the Egyptian Tortoises endangerment.
