In my Core Class I learned that this had many positive effects and a couple bad effects. In my history book there is a whole section about the Colombian Exchange. My history book says that there were a few positive effects and a couple of bad effects. One good effect was that people received many new items and goods. Some people got treasures and gold and others traded thier goods.
