Today I will tell you about the Colombian Exchange. The Colombian Exchange was a big part of history. The Colombian Exchange was when people traded goods all over Europe. In my Core Class I learned that this had many positive effects and a couple bad effects. In my history book there is a whole section about the Colombian Exchange. My history book says that there were a few positive effects and a couple of bad effects. One good effect was that people received many new items and goods. Some people got treasures and gold and others traded thier goods.

My favorite station at the Zoo was the one about the owl. At this station I had to put this object up to my forehead and adjust this other thing to where I could see this white object in front of me. Its hard for me to explain, but it was pretty fun. My group went to a couple of stations, but I don't remember some of them. My favorite was the owl station. The Zoo had many stations, but our group didn't get to do some of them because our group was having a hard time looking for everyone's animal. My partners and I couldn't find our animal, The Egyptian Tortoise, anywhere.
Some other stations that my group went to was fun. Another fun station was the Dino Dig. It was fun too. In that station, I had to dig up fossils from the Ground. My group had to use really small shovels. This station was fun and exhausting to me at the same time. Another station my group went to was the station that taught us about the beaks of the birds. In that one we learned how different beaks helped birds get different foods and other animals. Out of these stations the one I disliked the most was the beak one. It was kind of boring, but the competition was fun. The Zoo trip overall was O.K. I think that it could have been better.

The Inca and the Aztecs' fall or end was similar in many ways. One way is because of war. They both fell because of war. Both the Aztecs and the Inca were attacked by the Spanish. The conquistadors attacked many of thier tribes and took the gold and thier land. These battles lasted a long time and killed many men in the battle. This made the Aztec and the Inca weak. Another reason for thier fall is because of the new deceases that the Spanish brought to the Inca and the Aztec. The Spanish brought deceases like smallpox's and other illnesses. The Inca, nor the Aztec knew how to heal these illnesses.
In Conclusion the Aztec and the Inca fell in almost the same way. They both fell because of the Spanish and because of new illnesses. The Aztec and the Inca were great civilizations, but both fell because of the conquistadors.

I don't really have that much ''great'' moments in the seventh grade, but my best moment is when I made the basketball team. I made the team and I was very happy because it was my biggest achievement in the seventh grade. I wasn't as good as some of the other guys, but I made the team and that is all that mattered to me. I wanted to try out for baseball too, but I got sick during the try-outs and wasn't able to go to school. I was a little disappointed because I like baseball almost as much as basketball. Another great moment that I had was making new friends. This year I made a really good friend that helped me in a lot of troubled moments.

I think the Mayan Collapsed because of over-demanding rulers. I think the Mayan in the lower class had enough of the ruler and his demands. I think they stopped doing what the kings told them to do and they stopped farming. They probably stopped doing things that were important to living and other things. This is probably why there are no Maya anymore. I think that the Maya left thier cities and went their own ways. Maybe, they were forced to leave because they wouldn't follow the kings demands.
Another way the Maya could have collapsed is because of warfare. They probably killed each-other.
