Yesterday I was on the internet looking for evidence on the grand canyons superposition and crosscutting. I could not find anything. I tried Google and Bing, but could not find anything. This morning I tried again and found some stuff about. I can't remember most of it, but it was something about a lake. The lake created the grand canyon and formed its position. I remembered some of this from sixth grade, but not all of it. I could not find anything for the crosscutting.

In my science class I am studying evolution. A couple of weeks ago I had to play a little game about them. I also had to read and answer questions about the Peppered Moth too. In one part it explained how the Peppered Moths changed color. Scientists say that the Moths changed overtime, but others say something different happened to them. Some believe that they changed because of a factory. The factory was creating chemicals and testing experiments.  I don't remember exactly, but I think it said that these chemicals caused smoke and the only way to get rid of it was to build holes on the top of the building. These infected the Moths and they turned black. Some were not infected and and remained white. Overtime the Moths changed. I got this information from science class and Wikipedia.

How does Overpopulation and limited resources create competition? How could this have an effect on evolution through out time? This would have a big effect on evolution. First of all, this could have an effect on physical form. This would also have an effect on the competition. Since there would be little resources the competition would also die easy. In my science class I am currently learning about evolution. I am learning about Charles Darwin and his discoveries. I also discovered that since there would be little resources and too many species, it wouldn't be long before many of those species dies out. This is also an example of evolution. Overtime some species would have to find more resources in different ways. This is another example of evolution.
Evolution is when a species changes overtime. Evolution is also when a new species is created. I am currently learning about evolution in my science class. I am learning about Charles Darwin and his discoveries. I have done many activities on evolution. I have also seen a couple of videos on evolution too.

In my science class I had to do a project were I had to create little pets. To do this project I had to determine how it will look like using punnet squares. I had to create them and name them. I forgot the names of my pets, but I made them funny. When I first did this project I did not like it. When I got into the drawing part I got excited. I made them look like little monsters and they looked funny. At the end of that period I did not finish and had to do it as homework. The next day I could not find it. Then my teacher let me do it over, but until I finished it, I had a F in that class. I finished it a week later and I still failed the project. My paper pet family did not relate to my family. I planned on naming my paper pets after my family, but my partner wanted to name them after her favorite shows and her family. I did not fight or argue with her. I went along with the names. After that I started on my project but did not finish.

Punnet Squares is shaped like a square and has four little boxes inside it. A Punnet Square is used to determines the Genotypes for an offspring. It will determine what the baby looks like when it is born. For example we used a Punnet Square to determine if an offspring will have dark or light hair. Another example was if a offspring would have freckles or not. In my science class I had to the a project with a partner and create little paperpets. Another assignment that I had to do was that I had to fill in Punnet Squares with Genotypes like Tt or tt. Punnet Squares are also  used for flowers or plants. I am currently learning about how Punnet Squares are used for plants. I do know it works the same way with

In my Science class I built a little ornament that looks like DNA. I built this project out of beads and string. I had to donate a dollar so that I can do this project. The first step I did to make this project was that I had to put the beads on to the string. That part was easy. The next part I had to do was cross the beads in a certain way. I had to get one hand and cross the beads to the other. The next part was easy. I had to put more beads on to the string. The next step was that I had to cross them again. I had to repeat this a couple more times

Today I am going to blog about if Santa is real. I do believe in Santa Clause. How would we get our presents from him on Christmas day. My teacher wanted us to read an article called The Physics of Santa Clause. I will admit that it was kinda funny. The article was explaining why Santa could not be real. One of the examples was that reindeer could not fly. Another reason was that no one could deliver presents in one night. No one can do that. I believe that Santa is real and could do that. Who besides Santa would give presents to all of us?
I believe Santa is real. I don't care what that article says, he is real. Although some parts of that article are making me think twice about my thoughts. Some of that article was true. It said that reindeer's can not fly and that is true. If Santa Clause doesn't give us our presents then who does. There was this one time when I was 4 or 5 snow was covering our tree and it was on the floor too. That was the thing that made me believe in Santa. There was this other time when the door was open on Christmas. My mom locked it no one could get in.

DNA is replicated in a process that I recently learned in science. First cells create two Daughter Cells. Then they cut in to two halves. This happens two both of the Daughter Cells. The last thing that happens is that the two halves combine with the other halve. After this process DNA is replicated in to two. A day or two my science class had to write down on a piece of paper what we know about this process. I explained in as much detail as I could on that paper. After that I had to take a long test on some videos and what we know on DNA. In that test was also questions about brain pop videos about DNA, cells, and photosythesis.

Today I am going to blog about DNA and the DNA structure. I am currently learning about DNA and its structure. In my science class we used a special kind of legos. After we build the structure she tells us about some parts of the cell. Yesterday we built two that represent the DNA from both parents. Monday she told us about the first one we built. She told us about the sugar and other stuff too. Later she told us about the double helix. She told us that six different scientist had a part in the double helix discovery. The first one was James Watson and others that I can not remember right now. Rosalind Franklin was one of the scientist and had more to do with it. She also discovered two other types of DNA. My science teacher made us watch a movie on this for a report that we had to do.
This science taught me a lot. My science teacher told us a lot about the cell.

Today I will blog about the process of Mitosis. Mitosis is when one cell becomes two cells. It begins when the DNA in the cell start to coil up. Then they merge together to make chrommosomes. Then outside the cell wall these things circle around it and make protien for the chromosomes. There is one part of this process that scientists don't know. They do not know why the nuclear membrane dissolves. Later it is regenerated or comes back. Next some spindals came and attach themselves into a cetain part of the chromosomes. Then the spindals pull the chromosomes to different sides of the cell. Now the Nuclear Membrane comes back. The spindals keep pulling to different sides.
