Once I find the answer to a line, i could ask many questions. The first question is if my work and answer are correct. I could check my work again or do it once more to see if it is correct. Another question is if my work is correct. I should check if my work is right. I always make sure m and b are because they are the most important letters in solving for a line. Another question is if I showed enough work. My math teacher will mark a question wrong if I do not show enough work. One time I had to my work over because I did not shiw

For the past couple of weeks I have been learning about graphs and slopes. After I was taught the basics my math teacher introduced something a little new to me. The first thing he showed us was the slope and the second was how to find the equation of a line. I am still learning and kinda struggle with this. Sometimes I get them right and sometimes I get them wrong. First of all I must find what m and b are then I find the answer. There are a lot of questions that I could ask after I have solved this.

I researched what would be a better deal. A 12 pack of Mountain Dew or a liter of Mountain Dew. I used different math to find the answer, but it turns out I was doing it wrong. My math teacher explained to me how to do it in a couple of ways. The first way he told me was that I could find it by doing math that worked with prices and the product. My mom had a easier way for me. Too look it up on Google. I did that and found out that the liter is better. Google explained to me why it was better too. Google said that the liter was better because that the product cost a little more and it was bigger in size.

Last quarter in Pre Algebra I learned tons of new math problems and new ways to solve different math problems. The math that was my favorite and that I remember the most is integers. I am pretty good when it comes to that type of math. It is very easy for me solve. There is a couple of new ways that I learned last quarter. The first way is that you can use a number line. I sometimes drew a number line on a piece of paper and solved it that way. This was one of the easiest ways that my math teacher showed my when we started learning Integers. One other way is be able to picture a number line in your head. This helped me pass a lot of tests that were mostly about Integers. Another way to solve integers is to be able to count backwards and know how negatives work.

The hardest math that I had to learn was division. When I was in the third grade I had to learn it. It was hard because my teacher didn't explain it that much. He just gave us the paper and expected me to know it. After a long time I learned it. I was the second fast's person to finish the time worksheet things. After the first quarter he finally explained. In the first quarter I had to ask my mom for help. She helped me with my homework and some other stuff about division I had to do. She has to help my sister now. My sister is in the 4th or 5th grade and she cant do division. I have to help her somtimes when I come home from school or basketball practice

Today I am going to explain two possible ways to solve the Pathageron Theorum. Pathageron Theorum was a little hard for me at first, but overtime I got good at this. One way to solve  Pathageron Theorum is the way I had to learn it. I don't remember exactly what my math teacher told me, but I am going to explain as best as I could. First of all you can only do Pathageron Theorum  on a triangle. Then you label all three sides of the triangle.

Today I am going to talk about negative numbers. They are numbers that are less than zero. I am currently learning this in my math class with Mr.Dorman. I do not know a lot about negatives, but I do know a couple of things. They are in math problems that Mr.Dorman makes me solve in the morning. I am not good at this kind of math, but I try and do it. Most of the time I get them right. Sometimes I get them wrong, but I get pretty close to the answer.  I know I will learn more about this numbers as the year goes by. I always have questions for Mr. Dorman and he tries to explain it to me but sometimes it is really hard to understand.

I do not remember much about exponents. The only thing I remember was that they were kinda easy. I also remember what they look like too. From what I remember exponents look like the picture on the left. There is a small number on the top of a big number. They do not look like fractions either. This is some of what I remember in the sixth grade. I also know that exponents could be difficult.

Today I will blog about a game that I played. The game I played was about math. In the game I had to multiply two numbers and find the qoutient. I found the game challenging and played a while more. At first the game was a little confusing and then after a while I got a lot better at this game. While I was playing this game I realized that this game could help me get better at math. Also in this game I had to multiply negative and positive numbers. This game was really fun and I liked it.

Today I am going to explain why an Inequality with ''equal to'' needs a closed dot rather than a open one. I did not understand this until I asked my Pre -Algebra teacher. He explained it to me this morning. He told me that many people did not know this either. He said it is because the closed dot resembles ''equal to''. Mr.Dorman even gave me example on it too. It was more of an equation he made me solve.

When he finished explaining this Inequality I think I came out understanding this better and I feel that I could explain it to a friend if they needed me too, however there is still things that I need to learn so that I can better understand Math.
